Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick is reportedly wanted by a trio of clubs, potentially sparking a January bidding war for his services.
The 36-year-old has been used just once all campaign for the Red Devils, despite being handed the captain's armband by manager Jose Mourinho in the summer.
Carrick may be offered a route out of Old Trafford in the New Year, however, as The Mirror suggests that West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City are tempted to make a move.
Championship side Aston Villa are also said to be weighing up an offer for the England international, who has racked up almost 400 appearances for United since joining from Tottenham Hotspur in 2006.
The report claims that Carrick is hopeful of playing more regularly later in the season, though, and currently has no plans to quit in January.
