Manchester United are keen to bring RB Leipzig attacker Christopher Nkunku to Old Trafford this summer, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly showing a 'great interest' in RB Leipzig attacker Christopher Nkunku due to his performances this season.

The 24-year-old has been in impressive form for his German club this term, scoring 23 goals and registering 13 assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.

Man United and Arsenal are among the clubs to be credited with an interest in the attacker, who has a contract with his current side until June 2024.

A recent report claimed that Leipzig would not be prepared to sell the Frenchman during this summer's transfer window unless they received an offer of £62.5m.

However, according to Sky Deutschland, he is likely to be available for a fee in the region of £50m, and Man United are keen to bring him to Old Trafford.

The report claims that the 20-time English champions have been alerted to his 'outstanding' performances 'on the big stage', and they are showing 'great interest' in his services.

Nkunku has scored 14 times and registered nine assists in 24 Bundesliga appearances this term, while he netted seven goals and contributed two assists in six outings in the group stage of the Champions League, including a hat-trick against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in September 2021.
