Manchester United are reportedly at the head of the queue to sign Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries during this summer's transfer window.
There remains ongoing speculation surrounding the 27-year-old's future, as his contract at San Siro is due to expire in the summer of 2025, and renewal talks are believed to have stalled.
According to Tuttosport, Inter are not prepared to meet the Dutchman's wage demands, which has led to them making the decision to place him up for sale in the summer market.
The report claims that Man United are 'in the front row' for the right-back, with Inter setting an asking price of €40m (£34.2m), which is unlikely to put off interested clubs.
However, a strong Euro 2024 for the Netherlands could allegedly see his price rise, with Man United therefore potentially looking to put a deal in place before the tournament begins.

The defender started his professional career with Sparta Rotterdam before making the move to Heerenveen, spending one season with the club ahead of a switch to PSV Eindhoven.
Dumfries made 124 appearances for PSV, scoring 16 goals and registering 20 assists in the process, and his form earned him a move to Inter in the summer of 2021.
The defender has represented the Milan giants on 119 occasions, scoring 10 goals and registering 19 assists, including three goals and five assists in 23 appearances this season.
Dumfries scored and provided an assist in Inter's 4-0 win over Salernitana on February 16 but then found himself out of the starting XI for the Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid last week.

The defender's apparent desire to leave this summer could see him continue in a rotational role for the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign.
Diogo Dalot is currently Man United's first-choice right-back, with the Portugal international proving to be a dependable performer this season under head coach Erik ten Hag.
However, there is widespread speculation surrounding Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with the Englishman potentially being sold during this summer's transfer window.
Wan-Bissaka, who is currently out with a muscular problem, had his contract at Old Trafford renewed earlier this year, but he is being linked with a return to Crystal Palace in the upcoming market.
A recent report claimed that Inter had approached Man United to discuss a possible swap deal involving Dumfries and Wan-Bissaka, but the English outfit turned it down.
