Javier Hernandez has reiterated his intention of scoring goals for Real Madrid this season.
The Mexican striker has joined Los Blancos on a season-long loan from Manchester United and notched his first two goals for the club in an 8-2 rout of Deportivo La Coruna yesterday afternoon.
After the game, Chicharito admitted that it was a "great start" to his Madrid career, but also said that there is a lot more work to be done.
"I came to score goals for this club," the 26-year-old is quoted as saying by insidespanishfootball.com.
"I have to thank my teammates because thank God they got off to a great start. I hope to get more minutes to try and do great things.
"I always try to be fair and humble, it's a great start and it's given me confidence. I want to be at this level for as long as possible."
Hernandez is yet to start a game for Carlo Ancellotti's side.
