Malmo won their first match in the group stages of the Champions League by beating Olympiacos 2-0 at the Swedbank Stadion.
Markus Rosenberg capitalized on a mix-up in the visiting defence to give his side the lead just before the break.
The striker grabbed his second of the match late on with a composed finish from close range to seal the points.
Find out how the action unfolded below.
Good evening and thank you for joining Sports Mole for live text commentary of the Champions League Group A match between Malmo and Olympiacos at the Swedbank Stadion.
Swedish champions Malmo are taking part in the group stages for the first time in their history and will be hoping to pick up their first points after losing to Juventus in their opening match. They managed to hold Juve for nearly an hour before a double from Carlos Tevez gave the Serie A side a 2-0 win.

It was a different story in Greece, as Olympiacos started their Champions League campaign with a 3-2 victory against last season's losing finalists Atletico Madrid. They will see tonight's match as an ideal opportunity to put further pressure on their Group A rivals.
In tonight's other Group A match Atletico Madrid and Juventus go head to head in Spain. A quick glance at the table shows that Juventus and Olympiacos lead the way with three points after their opening day victories, while Atletico and Malmo are yet to get off the mark and cannot afford to drop any more points this evening.
MALMO XI: Olsen, Tinnerholm, Helander, Ricardinho, Johansson, Halsti, Eriksson, Adu, Forsberg, Rosenberg, Thelin
OLYMPIACOS XI: Roberto, Giannis, Maniatis, Botia, Elabdellaoui, Abidal, Masuaku, Milivojevic, Afellay, N'Dinga, Kasami, Mitroglou
MALMO SUBS: Azinovic, Hammar, Konate, Kroon, Cibicki, Rakip, Mehmeti
OLYMPIAKOS SUBS: Megyeri, Giannoulis, Avlonitis, Durmaz, Domínguez, Bouchalakis, Diamantakos
Malmo have made just one change from their defeat against Juventus, with Ricardinho starting in place of Pa Konate. Captain Markus Rosenberg will be their main attacking threat, with Isaac Kiese Thelin playing upfront alongside him.
There is plenty of European pedigree in the Olympiacos side this evening. They boast two former Champions League winners in Eric Abidal and Ibrahim Afellay, who lifted the trophy at Barcelona. Fans of Fulham will also recognise a couple of their players, with Konstantinos Mitroglou and Pajtim Kasami both starting.
Malmo may not have got off to the best start in this season's group stages, but back home in Sweden they are nine points clear at the top of the table. They just need just four points from their remaining four matches to retain their title.

Since their defeat against Juventus, they have found their form and won two of their last three matches. They warmed up for tonight's clash by cruising to a 4-1 win against Mjallby at the weekend, with Emil Forsberg grabbing a hat-trick.
Of course it would be hard to judge them based on their opening day loss in Turin. They were playing a Juventus side who did not lose at home all season and have won three Serie A titles in a row. It was always going to be a tough ask to get anything from the game.
It could have been a very different night had Magnus Eriksson found the net with their only shot on target early in the first half. He was picked out at the back post and saw his effort saved at point blank range by a brilliant save from Gianluigi Buffon. That proved to be the closest they came to a goal as they were undone in the second half by Tevez's class.
The visitors to Sweden this evening are an Olympiacos side who know their way around the group stages of this tournament. They qualify for the Champions League almost every year due to their dominance of the Greek league, having won the title a record 41 times.
They couldn't have asked for a better start to this season's competition, as they beat Atletico Madrid 3-2 in their opening match. Such a result against one of the best teams in Europe last season will have sent out a strong message that they are not in this group to make up the numbers.
Fans of the club will be hoping that they can better last year's performance of reaching the last 16. They were drawn against Manchester United and claimed a memorable 2-0 win at home thanks to goals from Alejandro Dominguez and Joel Campbell. However, all their good work from that evening proved futile as they fell to a 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford thanks to Robin van Persie's hat-trick.
You have to go back to 1999 for the club's best season in this tournament. They reached the quarter-finals that year, before losing 2-1 on aggregate to Juventus, with current Bianconeri manager Antonio Conte actually scoring a goal in each leg for his side.
Olympiacos had won four games on the spin before falling to a 1-0 defeat in the league against Atromitos at the weekend. The scorer of the goal was Anastasios Karamanos, a player who is currently on loan from Olympiacos. That result has left them three points of the top of the table after the first five matches of the season.
This is the first time that these two teams have met and also the first time that Malmo will be playing Greek opposition. Olympiacos have faced a team from Sweden just once in their history. That was back in 1982 in the first round of the European Cup, when they beat Osters 2-1 on aggregate.
PREDICTION: Olympiacos will be looking at tonight's match as a must-win encounter if they are to reach the knockout stages. They will know they cannot afford to drop points and can put real pressure on Juventus and Atletico. Malmo will be buoyed by their home support, but I just don't seem having enough quality to get a result, so I am going to go for a 2-0 win to the Greeks.
Both teams are making their way out of the tunnel and we are just a few minutes away from the start of the match.
KICKOFF! We are underway at the Swedbank Stadion!
CHANCE! Olympiacos have the first attempt on goal of the evening as Kasami is played in down the left and drives in a low strike that is palmed away by Olsen. The ball eventually falls to Mitroglou outside the box, but the man on loan from Fulham lashes an effort well wide of the target.
It looks like we are going to have an open game here tonight as the home side show some attacking intent of their own. They put together a decent move with Adu picked out just outside the box, but the Ghanaian ends up dragging his low strike just wide of the post.
The visitors are just slightly shading the possession in these early stages and look the team more likely to break the deadlock. They are getting plenty of men forward and are trying to break quickly whenever the chance arises.
CHANCE! Botia wastes a decent chance to open the scoring for the visitors as Malmo fail to clear a corner kick and the ball falls to him at the back post. He then swivels on the ball, before firing in a strike that goes just wide of the target.
Tinnerholm almost capitalizes on a poor give away from the Olympiacos defence, as he latches onto a loose pass around 25 yards out from goal. He takes a touch before driving in a low strike, but it is always going wide of the far post.
It's been a very open start to the match, with both teams able to string a number of passes together. There is slightly more space for the visitors, who have been caught offside a number of times so far.
Olympiacos try their luck with another long-range effort, but Milivojevic's strike from outside the box flies over the bar. The Greeks have worked some decent openings and it is something the Malmo defence will have to keep an eye on.
The visitors have settled in this match well and have seen 57% of the possession so far. They are in control and will be certainly be looking to make their dominance count.
CHANCE! Milivojevic blazed an effort over the bar a minutes ago, but after a free kick is laid off to him, he fires in a powerful strike that is well turned behind by the keeper.
CHANCE! The visitors are certainly turning up the pressure now and from the resulting corner Maniatis meets the ball on the volley, but Malmo have Olsen to thank again as the keeper blocks his effort.
SAVE! Out of absolutely nothing Malmo come close to taking the lead! A long ball is played into the box by Eriksson and met by Rosenberg, but his diving header from close range is brilliantly saved by Roberto.
That chance for Malmo will have certainly given them a huge amount of confidence. They are already being cheered on by a passionate home crowd who have not stopped singing since the kick off.
At this stage in the game it's still Olympiacos who have a measure of control, with their midfielders looking comfortable on the ball. They haven't been able to get in behind their opponents' backline so far, with their best chances coming from set pieces.
The visitors finally get the ball into a good crossing position out wide, with Maniatis slipped in down the right-hand side. However, with Mitroglou to pick out in the middle he delivers a poor cross that ends up going straight out for a goal kick.
The way things are going at the moment it does not look like we are going to see a goal before half time. The defences have been very much on top, with each side's forwards barely having a sniff.
Malmo have just started to show a bit of frustration in the past few minutes and they have given away a fee cheap fouls. The latest sees Eriksson bundle Afellay to the floor, giving Olympiacos a free kick in a decent position.
The visitors almost make the set piece count as the free kick is chipped into the box and headed on to Mitroglu who volleys in at the back post, but the flag was raised for offside.
GOAL! Malmo 1-0 Olympiacos (Markus Rosenberg)
With three minutes of the first half remaining Malmo have taken the lead! It's a disastrous goal to concede as far as Olympiacos are concerned, as Botia and Roberto fail to clear a long ball forward allowing Rosenberg to poke an effort goalwards. His first attempt is saved by the keeper, but he follows up to slot the ball into the unguarded net.
HALF-TIME: Malmo 1-0 Olympiacos
That's it for the first half and surprisingly Malmo are in the lead. A defensive mix-up from the visitors allowed Rosenberg the simplest of goals and they now have something to hang on to after the break.
For large periods of the half Olympiacos were in control and they enjoyed a huge 63% of the possession. They ended up having seven attempts on goal, but the hosts have posed as much of a threat with their eight efforts. The only stat that really matters is the scoreline that is in Malmo's favour.
In this evening's other Group A encounter it is currently goalless between Atletico Madrid and Juventus in Spain. As things stand Malmo would move into second above Olympiacos on goal difference, but there is still a very long way to go.
The players have just made their way back out onto the pitch and we are just a few moments away from the start of the second half.
Olympiacos take the kick off and get the match back underway!
YELLOW CARD! Afellay is the first player this evening to pick up a booking.
It's been a very frantic start to the second half, with neither side able to put together a decent spell of possession. Olympiacos are trying to get men forward, but they are being stopped by some committed tackles from the hosts.
Olympiacos aren't quite clicking in attack at the moment and they are still struggling to get in behind the Malmo defence, who have been solid throughout.
The visitors concedeed a comical goal in the first half and the same two players are involved again as Botia heads a long ball back to Roberto, who had stepped off his line, but there was never enough power to beat the keeper who is able to get back and save.
YELLOW CARD! The visitors feel that they should be given a penalty when Maniatis appears to be bundled over in the box, but the referee waves away their appeals and instead books the Greek international for diving.
SUBSTITUTION: Olympiacos make their first change of the evening, with Dominguez coming on for N'Dinga.
CHANCE! What a huge moment in the game this could prove to be! Malmo come agonizing close to doubling their lead as Eriksson's deflected cross is met by Thelin at the back post, but he sees his header saved by Roberto.
CHANCE! It's all Malmo at the moment and they put together a fine move, with Eriksson being picked out on the edge of the box. He has just the keeper to beat, but takes the ball slightly wide and ends up seeing his effort blocked by Roberto.
In the first half Olympiacos had looked threatening from set plays and they have another chance from a corner which is eventually played to Dominguez. He whips a cross into the middle which is met by Kasami, but the Swiss midfielder can only head his effort over the bar.
CHANCE! Big, big chance for the visitors to level the scores. Mitroglou is picked out at the back post following a teasing low cross, but he sees his effort well saved by Olsen. Maniatis arrives to follow up from the rebound, but ends up seeing his strike blocked by the defence.
SUBSTITUTION: The visitors make their second change of the match, as Durmaz comes on to replace Kasami.
SAVE! Rosenberg has looked a real threat for Malmo this evening and the striker does well to cut inside from the left, before firing in a powerful strike towards the near post that is beaten behind by Roberto.
Malmo profited from a huge slice of luck for their goal and they are fortunate again as Durmaz's weak effort is sliced just wide of his own post by Helander.
SUBSTITUTION: The hosts make their second sub of the night, with Cibicki coming on for Eriksson.
Olympiacos are starting to push Malmo deeper inside their own half in their search for a late goal. Their quality in the final third has let them down a number of times though as shown when a cross from Abidal goes harmlessly out of play on the far side, when he had targets to pick out in the box.
SUBSTITUTION: The visitors make their third and final change of the match as Diamantakos comes on for Afellay.
GOAL! Malmo 2-0 Olympiacos (Markus Rosenberg)
Malmo are surely now on their way to a first win in their group stages of the Champions League as Rosenberg grabs his second of the match! It is another poor goal for the visitors to concede, as they fail to deal with another long ball forward. It eventually drops to Cibicki, who turns his man and with the keeper rushing off his line, he squares the ball to Rosenberg, who then guides an effort into the top corner.
Thelin is almost in behind for Malmo as he latches onto a fine pass from Rosenberg. He drives towards the box, but Abidal comes in to deny him a shooting chance with a fine last-ditch tackle.
Olympiacos are stunned and they just haven't come close to a response since falling two goals behind. They have found it hard to break down a stubborn Malmo defence, who have given everything this evening.
There are going to be three minutes of stoppage time.
SUBSTITUTION: Malmo make a late change, with Rakip coming on for Forsberg.
FULL-TIME: Malmo 2-0 Olympiacos
The final whistle blows and Malmo have won their first ever match in the group stages of the Champions League. A double from Markus Rosenberg has given them a win over an Olympiacos side who were the favourites to pick up the three points beforehand.
Atletico Madrid have beaten Juventus 1-0 in the other Group A match, which means that each team has three points to their name. It's too tight to call after the first two matches, but this will have given Malmo a huge amount of confidence going into their double header against Atletico Madrid.
That's all we've got time for here. Thank you for joining me for coverage of tonight's match. Make sure you stick around for analysis and reaction from each game that took place this evening. Until next time, Goodbye!
