Manchester City have reportedly quashed reports that the Premier League champions are keen on snatching striker Luis Suarez from Premier League rivals Liverpool.
Reports had emerged claiming that City boss Roberto Mancini has pushed for the owners to table a £40m bid for the Uruaguyan international.
It is understood that a City official has now denied any interest in the 24-year-old, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Suarez put pen to paper on a fresh long-term contract at Anfield in the summer.
