Report: Gary Locke signs three-year deal at Kilmarnock

Gary Locke is named as the manager of Kilmarnock on a permanent basis after putting pen to paper on a three-year contract, according to reports.

Gary Locke has been named as the manager of Kilmarnock on a permanent basis, according to reports.

The former Hearts boss was placed in interim charge at Rugby Park following Allan Johnston's departure in February and has lost just once in seven games at the helm.

According to STV Sport, the 39-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Ayrshire club, currently eighth in the Scottish Premiership table.

Locke joined Johnston's coaching team last summer after Robbie Neilson replaced him as Hearts manager.
