Juventus defender Lucio admits that he is unhappy with the lack of playing time at the club and is considering a move to Wolfsburg.

Lucio has admitted that he is unhappy with his current role at Juventus and insisted that a move away is an option.

The Brazilian defender joined the Turin side on a free transfer this summer after being released by Inter Milan.

However, since the move, the 34-year-old has struggled to make an impact and rarely featured for the Serie A champions.

"I am unhappy at the moment because I don't play much at Juventus," Lucio told Sport Bild.

"A return to the Bundesliga is a serious option. Things are organised very well in Germany. The league is on the rise and some good football is being played there.

"Wolfsburg are a team with big plans for the future. The club is well run. VfL would definitely be an option for me."

Lucio's current contract with Juventus runs until June 2014.
