Manchester United quoted £60m for Milan Skriniar?

Manchester United are reportedly told that they will have to pay £60m to sign Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.

Manchester United have reportedly been told that they will have to pay £60m to sign Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.

According to Calciomercato, the Serie A outfit are determined to keep hold of the 23-year-old and have told interested clubs that they will have to spend big to secure his services.

Skriniar has scored four times in 30 appearances this term, while also being an impressive force at the back for Luciano Spalletti's side.

The source adds that Barcelona are also keeping tabs on the Slovakian international as clubs circle ahead of the summer transfer window.

Virgil van Dijk holds the record for being the most expensive defender, after his move from Southampton to Liverpool in January.
