Fulham are reportedly in talks with Brighton & Hove Albion to sign Neal Maupay.
The forward has finished the last three seasons as Brighton's top scorer, but he is set to leave the club after being left out of the squad for last weekend's goalless draw against Newcastle United.
Graham Potter stated that that Maupay did not feature against Newcastle as he was "considering things" about his future, with Nottingham Forest rumoured to be his destination.
While a move to Forest seems to have stalled, according to Daily Mail, Fulham appear to be leading the race for the 26-year-old and are currently involved in discussions over a £15m deal.
Although Fulham are reported to be in advanced talks with Brighton, they could still face competition from Forest, Everton and Salternitana for Maupay's signature.
The Frenchman has less than a year remaining on his current contract, and looks set to leave the Seagulls after scoring 27 goals in 109 appearances for the club.
