West Bromwich Albion head coach Pepe Mel believes that Ben Foster is England's best goalkeeper.
Manchester City's Joe Hart currently occupies the number one spot under manager Roy Hodgson, but Mel believes that Foster should be first choice at the World Cup.
"For me, Ben Foster is the best goalkeeper in England," BBC Sport quotes Mel as saying. "In particular, he is very good with crosses. He has no problem dealing with them. For me, he should be England's number one at the World Cup, but Hart at City is a good goalkeeper, a good player."
Foster spent four months on the sidelines with a foot injury in the first half of the season, but returned just before Christmas.
