Birmingham City level late on to secure 3-3 draw

Birmingham City left it late to secure a 3-3 draw against Derby County in the Championship.

Birmingham City came back from two goals down to clinch a 3-3 draw against Derby County in the Championship.

Will Hughes was brought down to give Craig Bryson a chance to score from the penalty spot six minutes before the break.

However, he was unable to add to his 12 goals this season as Darren Randolph saved in the Birmingham goal.

There were two goals in a minute after the restart when Brian Howard scored for the home side on 48 minutes, before Patrick Bamford continued his good form with an equaliser.

Chris Martin gave the Rams the lead 10 minutes later when he hit a long-range effort into the corner.

Craig Forsyth extended the advantage on 73 minutes when he fired home for his first goal for the club.

Birmingham reduced the deficit as Chris Burke netted five minutes later, before debutant Federico Macheda rescued a point late on.
