Pat Nevin: "Tougher" for Jose Mourinho this time

Pat Nevin feels that Jose Mourinho will find it harder to win trophies at Chelsea this time around.

Former Chelsea winger Pat Nevin has warned Jose Mourinho that it will be "tougher" for him to win trophies during his second spell in charge of the club.

Between 2004 and 2007, the 50-year-old guided the Blues to seven trophies before he parted company with the club.

He was reappointed to the Stamford Bridge helm this afternoon on a four-year deal, but Nevin believes that Chelsea's rivals are stronger this time around.

"He is great for everyone else to have around. It is tougher to win everything again this time. Manchester United are hugely strong, even with David Moyes coming in as he will have a few quid to spend on an already fearsome squad," the Scot told BBC Sport.

"Manchester City will be stronger again. Even to get the domestic title will be tough, but he will not worry about that, he will back his own ability."

Mourinho will be presented to the media a week today.
