Gary Cahill insists that Chelsea can turn their recent run of form around at Everton.

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has backed the Blues to turn their recent run of form around at Goodison Park this afternoon.

Cahill's side haven't secured maximum points in almost a month of Premier League action, but the Blues centre-back is confident of the club's chances as they have beaten Everton on a couple of occasions already this season.

"We need to get back to winning games," he told the club's official website. "I don't think we're too far from that. All the lads know what we have to do.

"I noticed myself that all of the teams around us have got tough games this weekend, but we can't do anything about that, that's out of our hands.

"We can only influence the game we have at Everton. We've had two good results against them already this season so hopefully we can make it a third."

The Blues will look to close the gap on third-place Tottenham, who take on Newcastle later this afternoon.
