Charlton Athletic striker Leon Clarke has thanked Scunthorpe United supporters for their treatment of him during his loan spell at the club.
The 27-year-old recently completed a three-month loan spell with the League One outfit, where he scored 11 goals in 15 appearances.
"I really enjoyed my time at Scunthorpe and I just wish I could have left them in a better league position," Clarke told Sky Sports News.
"I just want to say thank-you to all the supporters at Scunthorpe and all the staff for making me so welcome during my stay."
Clarke is expected to leave Charlton on a permanent basis in January.
