Team News: John Carew starts as lone forward for West Ham United

John Carew starts up front for West Ham United, while goalkeeper Steve Harper makes his debut for Brighton & Hove Albion this evening.

There is also a return to the starting lineup for midfielder Jack Collison, while Mark Noble also starts for Sam Allardyce's side.

Spanish winger Vicente misses out for host Brighton with injury, with Ashley Barnes and Craig Makail-Smith continuing their partnership up front.

There is also a debut for goalkeeper Steve Harper, who joined on loan from Newcastle earlier today.
