Kenwyne Jones "impressed" by Bournemouth

Bournemouth loanee Kenwyne Jones speaks of the positivity that he has seen since joining the Championship leaders last week.

Kenwyne Jones has revealed that he has been "impressed" by what he has seen at his new club Bournemouth.

The striker only arrived at Dean Court last week on a loan deal from fellow Championship outfit Cardiff City.

However, despite having only recently joined up with the leaders, the 30-year-old has hailed the high standards set by both manager Eddie Howe and his new teammates.

"Just over the last few days training with the team and interacting with them and the manager it's a true indication of where they are. The way they train, the way they prepare has been on point. In all honesty over my career it's like nothing I've ever seen before," he told the club's official website.

"I'm quite excited by it and I think they do have the formula to do well so kudos to the manager, the staff and the football club for the way they have been going about their business and hopefully they'll be able to take that into the last seven games and also into next season.

"It's been a short time but I'm very much quite impressed with [Howe's] work rate and his attention to detail and his philosophy so I think on the club front for me without fail he's probably the best manager I've worked with, in that short space of time."

Jones is expected to make his debut for the Cherries away at Ipswich Town on Friday afternoon.
