Dougie Freedman: 'No firm offers for David N'Gog'

Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman insists that the club have received no "concrete offers" for striker David N'Gog.

Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman has insisted that striker David N'Gog needs to make a decision on his future during the January transfer window.

N'Gog's contract at the Reebok Stadium expires in the summer and the Frenchman has been linked with a move to Bursaspor, but while Freedman has revealed that he had received no bids, he has hinted that he would be prepared to consider any offers for the former Liverpool man.

The 39-year-old told reporters: "There's always going to be speculation when players are out of the team. We've had no official offers, but we have had two enquiries.

"David is a good player and he has a part to play, but right now, he has lost his form and is out of the team. He has to accept that and do something about it.

"Naturally, some players move on and some players dig deep. David will decide what he wants to do. We feel that David has got to make that decision. Does he want to fight for his place or does he want to move on?"

N'Gog has scored just one goal in 15 appearances during the current campaign.
