Birmingham City manager Chris Hughton has admitted that the Championship side are yet to begin discussions with goalkeeper Ben Foster.
The former Manchester United keeper, who is currently on loan from the Blues to West Bromwich Albion, recently claimed that he would like his permanent future sorted out.
Baggies boss Roy Hodgson stated that the 28-year-old is keen to remain at the Hawthorns, which has sparked confusion among the Birmingham camp.
"I was surprised at Roy's comments, because there haven't been any talks between the two clubs recently," The Mirror quotes Hughton as saying.
"We're all aware of the fact that Ben Foster is our goalkeeper so dialogue will have to take place at some stage. But there haven't been any talks of late and it will be addressed at the right time. We are pushing for the play-offs and it is very dependent on ourselves."
Foster signed for the Championship club from the Red Devils in 2010.
