West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster has admitted that he is open to returning to parent club Birmingham City after a loan stint with the Baggies.
The 28-year-old comes to the end of his temporary contract at the Hawthorns when the season ends in May, but reports have suggested that West Brom are keen to keep hold of the stopper.
"If a decision can be made soon, then fantastic," said Foster. "I've got nothing but good things to say about Birmingham and the same now about West Brom. I've loved my time here and at Birmingham.
"We've obviously got to come to a decision at the end of the season and I think Birmingham will be the ones who make it.
"The Championship season finishes earlier than the Premier League so I'm sure, come the end of that, a decision will be made one way or the other."
Foster made the switch to the Baggies following Birmingham's relegation to the Championship last season.
