Mesut Ozil has reportedly reached an agreement with Arsenal following further negotiations over a big-money deal to keep him at the Emirates Stadium.
The 28-year-old and his representatives have been locked in talks with the Gunners during the international break, having previously reached a stalemate in discussions due to the German's bloated wages.
According to The Mirror, Arsenal have agreed to bow to their superstar midfielder's salary demands and will make him the club's highest-paid player on £200,000 a week.
Ozil, who is currently on £140,000 a week and has 18 months left to run on his deal, is said to be happy in North London and will not delay putting pen to paper once the contract is officially handed over.
Arsenal are also hoping to tie Alexis Sanchez down to a longer-term deal, but they may be reluctant to offer him identical wages through fear of breaking the £100m barrier in terms of their annual bill for the first time.
Sanchez is said to be wanted by Juventus and Manchester City, while Ozil is a rumoured target for former manager Jose Mourinho at Manchester United - the Gunners' next opponents.
