Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish led his side to their first league win at Arsenal in over 10 years this afternoon, thanks to a goal from Luis Suarez.
The home side handed Samir Nasri a starting role after his move to Manchester City reportedly collapsed, but neither side could break the deadlock in the first half.
Gunners youngster Emmanuel Frimpong was dismissed soon after the hour mark, receiving his second card of the afternoon for a foul on Lucas Leiva. Dalglish responded immediately by sending on both Suarez and Raul Meireles.
Ignasi Miguel's attempted clearance, minutes later, accidentally struck Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey and looped over goalkeeper Szczesny for an own goal.
Substitute Suarez then completed the scoring from close range in the final minutes to give his side three points.
