Arsene Wenger has heaped praise on Mesut Ozil after his part in both goals helped Arsenal to go top of the Premier League.
The German set up the first for teammate Gabriel Paulista then scored the other just after the hour mark as the Gunners comfortably overcame Bournemouth 2-0 at the Emirates on Monday evening.
Ozil - the club's record signing - now has 16 assists to his name in a season in which he has also broken the top-flight record for assists in consecutive games.
"It's difficult to find the words for his form," Wenger told Sky Sports News afterwards.
"He has added something to his game - he is efficient in his final ball but is as well now scoring goals. That's what I told him many times that he needs to add to his game and he has done it now.
"But his work rate is as well sensational. He is an absolutely fantastic player."
Arsenal will enter 2016 in pole position in the league should Leicester City fail to beat title rivals Manchester City at the King Power on Tuesday night.
