Tom Daley delighted to seal World Series gold medal in London

Great Britain's Tom Daley expresses his delight after winning gold at the Diving World Series in London.

Great Britain's Tom Daley has expressed his joy after winning a gold medal in the 10m platform at the FINA Diving World Series in London.

The 20-year-old pipped China's world-record holder Jian Yang and Olympic silver medallist Qui Bo to the top spot with a score of 554.05 on Sunday.

Daley also displayed his 'firework' routine, which he debuted in February at the British Gas Diving Championships, and received a score of 99.00.

"I knew I had this in the tank and that I could beat the Chinese," Daley told BBC Sport. "It is the highest I've ever scored with a 'twister' routine in my life, so it's great for it finally to work in competition."

Daley had not won a World Series title since April 2013.
