Preview: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Bournemouth

Sports Mole previews the Championship match between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bournemouth.

Bournemouth will be looking to close the gap to the league leaders when they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Championship this weekend.

Eddie Howe's side slipped to a 2-2 draw with Millwall last weekend, leaving them fourth in the table, two points behind leaders Derby County.

The team have revealed that top scorer Callum Wilson will need a late fitness test ahead of the trip after missing last weekend's match with a hamstring injury.

There are no new injury concerns for the Cherries though, who are unbeaten in their last nine league outings.

Meanwhile, Wolves are hoping to end a run of four straight losses in the second tier, which has dropped them to 12th in the table.

Kenny Jackett's men were thrashed 4-0 by Brentford last time out, leaving them without a goal in their last three matches.

Jack Price could feature for the hosts, having been recalled from a loan spell with Leyton Orient in League One earlier this week.

Nouha Dicko will still be sidelined with a hamstring injury, while Scott Golbourne is still dealing with a plantar facilitis foot injury, and Ethan Ebanks-Landell also has a hamstring tear.

These two sides have not played since 1998, when Bournemouth knocked Wolves out of the League Cup.
