Wolverhampton Wanderers could be without as many as eight players for Saturday's Premier League West Midlands derby with Aston Villa at Molineux.
Jorgen Strand Larsen was forced off with a muscle injury in the first half of last weekend's 1-0 defeat to Arsenal, and although Vitor Pereira is hopeful that the Norwegian has not picked up a serious issue, he has emerged as a doubt for Saturday.
Wolves are still having to cope without Sasa Kalajdzic, Boubacar Traore, Enso Gonzalez, Yerson Mosquera and Carlos Forbs who are all nursing knee injuries, while Joao Gomes is suspended after being sent off against Arsenal, and Mario Lemina remains away from the first-team fold amidst uncertainty over his future.
Toti Gomes recovered from injury to watch on as an unused substitute last time out and he could be recalled to start in defence alongside Santiago Bueno and Emmanuel Agbadou. Matt Doherty may therefore make way as Nelson Semedo and Rayan Ait-Nouri continue as wing-backs.
The absence of Joao Gomes will likely see Tommy Doyle deputise in centre-midfield alongside Andre, while Pereira could be forced to shake up his attack if Strand Larsen is not deemed fit to start.
Indeed, either Hwang Hee-chan or Matheus Cunha - who has been linked with a transfer away from Wolves - could be tasked with leading the line as Pablo Sarabia, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, Goncalo Guedes and Rodrigo Gomes all battle for starts in the final third.
Wolverhampton Wanderers possible starting lineup: Sa; Agbadou, Bueno, Toti; Semedo, Andre, Doyle, Ait-Nouri; Sarabia, Hwang; Cunha
