Second-half goals from Julian Draxler and Ciprian Marica help Schalke get the better of Werder Bremen 2-0 at the Weserstadion in the Bundesliga.

Schalke have enhanced their chances of finishing in the top four in the Bundesliga this season with a 2-0 away win against Werder Bremen.

Both goals came in the second half, as the Royal Blues move up to fourth in the table with the victory at the Weserstadion.

Julian Draxler broke the deadlock in the 51st minute when he found the target from outside the Bremen box having been teed up by Ciprian Marica.

Marica himself etched his name on the scoresheet on 69 minutes when he latched on to Raffael's pass to shoot home from close range.
