Chris Coleman confirms Gareth Bale involvement

Wales manager Chris Coleman confirms that Gareth Bale will be involved in his side's Euro 2016 warm-up match against Sweden.

Wales manager Chris Coleman has confirmed that Gareth Bale will play some part in his side's Euro 2016 warm-up match against Sweden on Sunday.

Bale has been missing for the majority of Wales's training camp so far due to club commitments, having helped Real Madrid to their 11th European Cup crown last weekend.

However, after struggling with cramp during extra time of that match, Bale will play a maximum of 45 minutes when Wales travel to Stockholm for their only warm-up friendly.

"Balo will play a part, whether starting or coming on as sub. He's had a tough season, he missed a little time through injury, and just had 120 minutes in the Champions League final," Coleman told reporters.

"He might get half-hour as a sub or start and get 45. But what I do know is that he won't get 90 minutes, he doesn't need that."

Wales, who begin their campaign against Slovakia on June 11, will be appearing at their first major international tournament for 58 years this summer.
