Team News: Ian Goodison, Jason Koumas start for Tranmere Rovers

John McMahon calls on veterans Ian Goodison and Jason Koumas to help steer Tranmere towards League One safety at home to Bradford.

Tranmere Rovers interim boss John McMahon has named three changes to his starting lineup for the crucial clash with Bradford City at Prenton Park today.

Rovers head into their final game needing to beat the Bantams and hope that Crewe Alexandra slip up at home to Preston North End if they are to preserve their League One status.

However, McMahon is without ever-present goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams, who misses his 50th appearance of the season with a groin injury, as Jason Mooney deputises for the Welshman.

Elsewhere, veteran defender Ian Goodison replaces Danny Holmes and Jason Koumas comes in for Jake Cassidy as the caretaker boss's only changes from the 2-0 defeat to Leyton Orient last week.

Meanwhile, Bradford boss Phil Parkinson makes just one change to his first XI from the 2-1 win over Crawley Town last time out, with Garry Thompson replacing Raffaele de Vita in midfield.

Tranmere Rovers: Mooney; Goodison, Taylor, Ridehalgh, Pennington; Power, Jennings, Brown, Akpa Akpro; Koumas; Lowe

Bradford City: McLaughlin; Darby, McArdle, Davies, Drury; Thompson, Doyle, Jones, Yeates; McLean, Stead
