Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka reportedly has three clubs contemplating moves for his services, albeit with two deals dependent on other factors.

Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka may reportedly soon have three opportunities to go out on loan.

The 21-year-old has remained on the periphery of Enzo Maresca's plans since the Italian arrived at Stamford Bridge during the summer.

A total of 130 minutes have been accumulated across five appearances in the EFL Cup and Conference League, yet Maresca is of the opinion that the playmaker should be heading out on loan if a permanent exit cannot be agreed.

With Chelsea allegedly not prepared to sell Chukwuemeka for anything less than his £40m release clause, a temporary departure is viewed as most realistic.

According to Sports Broadcaster Ben Jacobs and talkSPORT reporter Alex Crooks, who were both commenting on X, three clubs are contemplating trying to negotiate deals.

Which Premier League wants Chukwuemeka?

The reports highlights that Everton are contemplating whether to discuss a deal with Chelsea when the future of Armando Broja will be on the agenda.

With the injury-hit forward sidelined until at least April, Everton may send the Albania international back to Stamford Bridge.

David Moyes will only be in a position to sign Chukwuemeka on loan if Broja's loan stint at Goodison Park is shelved, a result of Premier League regulations.

Meanwhile, West Ham United are also said to be monitoring the situation with Graham Potter having previously had Chukwuemeka at his disposal as Chelsea boss.

Potter used Chukwuemeka in 11 Premier League fixtures during the 2022-23 campaign and is seemingly an admirer of the player.

Strasbourg alternative

Chelsea officials are reportedly considering whether Chukwuemeka would be better equipped moving to Strasbourg, a club also owned by BlueCo.

Caleb Wiley's temporary stint at the French outfit is likely to be cut short due to a lack of game time, freeing up a spot for Chelsea to take advantage of.

Liam Rosenior has generally deployed a system that uses three central midfielders, something that could play into Chukwuemeka's favour.
