Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up for their Ligue 1 showdown with Lyon on Sunday evening.

Paris Saint-Germain may be able to welcome Neymar back for their top-of-the-table clash against Lyon in Ligue 1 on Sunday evening.

The Brazilian attacker was forced to miss out on a reunion with Barcelona in the Champions League due to an ongoing groin problem, but he is making good progress in training and has a chance of being involved this weekend, most likely as a substitute.

However, Mauricio Pochettino will be forced to make do without striker Mauro Icardi, who suffered a thigh injury in the midweek Coupe de France win over Lille, so 28-goal Kylian Mbappe is likely to spearhead the attack.

Thankfully for Pochettino, Moise Kean's return from coronavirus means that Mbappe is free to start up top, while Angel Di Maria started against Lille just days after his home was targeted in a burglary during last weekend's defeat to Nantes.

Marco Verratti was given a 20-minute run-out in the cup and is expected to return to the first XI over Rafinha here, while Idrissa Gueye and Leandro Paredes will continue as a double pivot.

Pablo Sarabia has been ruled out until after the international break with a hip problem, while Juan Bernat continues to recuperate from an ACL rupture, but Layvin Kurzawa has earned plaudits for his role at left-back this term.

Alessandro Florenzi should be deemed fit enough to return at right-back with Thilo Kehrer also ruled out, while Presnel Kimpembe was rested entirely in midweek and is expected to come back to partner Marquinhos, whose home was also burgled last weekend.

Paris Saint-Germain possible starting lineup:
Navas; Florenzi, Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Kurzawa; Gueye, Paredes; Di Maria, Verratti, Kean; Mbappe
