How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Galatasaray

Sports Mole looks at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Galatasaray at the Parc des Princes.

Paris Saint-Germain will look to end the Champions League group stages in style with a win over Galatasaray at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday.

Thomas Tuchel's side are already guaranteed to qualify as group winners and would end up on a total of 18 points with a victory over the Turkish side.

Galatasaray, on the other hand, look set to finish bottom having failed to secure a single win in Europe this term.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the Ligue 1 champions could line up for this fixture.

POSSIBLE PSGXI v GAL

Out: Marco Verratti (thigh), Idrissa Gueye (thigh), Ander Herrera (thigh), Loic Mbe Soh (groin), Presnel Kimpembe (hamstring)
Doubtful: Edinson Cavani (calf)

Tuchel will be wary of risking too many key players in a meaningless game, especially after several key players recently suffered fresh injuries.

As such, the German is likely to leave out Thomas Meunier in favour of youngster Colin Dagba, who has performed well as a second-choice option this term.

Thiago Silva probably deserves a rest, but injury to Kimpembe means that the Brazilian starts alongside another youngster in Abdou Diallo.

On the left, Tuchel looks likely to continue his rotational policy and rest Juan Bernat in favour of Layvin Kurzawa.

Thankfully, with three key midfielders injured, Marquinhos is available once again to fill in at the base of midfield after missing PSG's meeting with Montpellier to be at the birth of his child.

Further forward will be Leandro Paredes, who received a rare start over the weekend and needs to take advantage of the current shortage of midfielders by stamping his authority on the meeting with Galatasaray.

The Argentine will be partnered with Julian Draxler, whose performances in Ligue 1 over the past month have been very fluid down the left.

With that in mind, Tuchel looks set to use Angel Di Maria, who did not feature against Montpellier and has developed a useful partnership with Draxler.

With Cavani an injury doubt and Kylian Mbappe not in need for such an inconsequential game, the meeting with the Turkish side on Wednesday serves as the ideal time to reintroduce Eric Choupo-Moting, who returned to action from the bench last weekend after a period injured on the sidelines.
