Northampton Town have climbed up to third In League Two with a 1-0 home win against Torquay United.
The first chance of the game fell to the hosts' Roy O'Donovan after nine minutes, but his effort from outside the box was saved by Michael Poke.
At the other end Jordan Chapell tried his luck from 30 yards but in vain, as Lee Nicholls made a comfortable save.
Ishmel Demontagnac had a good chance in the 17th minute for Northampton, but his shot from just inside the Torquay area went over the crossbar.
Twenty minutes later Demontagnac had another opportunity to put the home side in the lead when he took an attempt from outside the box, but once more he failed to keep it on target.
O'Donovan saw his effort in the opening minutes of the second half go wide of the Torquay goal, before Ben Harding struck the visitors' post on 52 minutes.
Northampton continued to dominated proceedings at the Sixfields Stadium, as John Johnson shot wide from inside the area and then Harding narrowly missed the target.
Aidy Boothroyd's side's pressure eventually paid off in the 85th minute when O'Donovan headed home Chris Hackett's delivery from deep inside the Torquay penalty box.
