Manchester United are reportedly looking to make a move for Harry Kane as soon as possible in order to bolster their chances of signing the Tottenham Hotspur striker.

Manchester United are reportedly planning to make a move for Harry Kane as soon as possible to bolster their chances of signing the England captain.

Kane has scored 30 goals in all competitions this season for a Tottenham Hotspur side that has suffered an underwhelming campaign which may end with them missing out on Europe altogether.

A top-seven finish is out of Spurs' hands heading into the final day of the Premier League season, leading to speculation that Kane could look to leave in order to play top-level football next term.

A report from Goal claims that Man United want to start negotiations as soon as possible in order for them to go smoothly.

Erik ten Hag is said to be in the market for a striker this summer, with Victor Osimhen also a target, but his price tag of £140m is putting clubs off from exploring a deal for the Napoli forward.

United are just one point away from sealing a return to the Champions League, and that could hold plenty of weight when hoping to strike a deal for Kane, who will not play in the competition should he stay at Spurs.

The Red Devils could claim that point on Thursday evening when they face Chelsea in their penultimate game of the season.
