Paris Saint-Germain team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Manchester City

Sports Mole rounds up all of Paris Saint-Germain's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Champions League semi-final first leg with Man City.

Paris Saint-Germain resume their quest for Champions League success on Wednesday night when they welcome Manchester City to the Parc des Princes for the first leg of their semi-final.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are aiming to reach the final for the second year running, and they gained revenge over reigning champions Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals by eliminating them on away goals after a 3-3 aggregate draw.

Les Parisiens also head into this game on the back of a 3-1 win over Metz in Ligue 1, but that victory was not enough to see them remain at the summit after Lille beat Lyon in dramatic circumstances.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of PSG's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the first leg.

Kylian Mbappe

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: April 28 (vs. Man City)

PSG's star striker Kylian Mbappe hobbled off the pitch after 87 minutes against Metz, sparking fears that he would not be ready for this game. However, his injury is believed to be a minor one and he should be fine for the first leg.

Marquinhos

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: April 28 (vs. Man City)

Marquinhos has been out of action since being forced off with a groin issue in the first leg of PSG's quarter-final win over Bayern, and while he played no part against Metz, he is said to be doing well in training and could make his comeback on Wednesday.

Abdou Diallo

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: April 28 (vs. Man City)

Abdou Diallo lasted just under an hour in PSG's second leg against Bayern before being forced off with a calf issue - one which has forced him to miss their last two Ligue 1 matches. However, there is optimism over the defender's fitness and he could join Marquinhos in returning to the rearguard against City.

Rafinha

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Back
Possible return date: April 28 (vs. Man City)

Rafinha has sat out PSG's last two games with back pain, but Pochettino has confirmed that the playmaker is also back in team training and is in contention to return, albeit probably as a substitute.

Juan Bernat

Status: Out
Type of injury: ACL
Possible return date: Unknown

Long-term absentee Juan Bernat continues to recuperate from an ACL injury he sustained in the early weeks of the season, but the left-back will hope to return before the campaign concludes.

PSG'S SUSPENSION LIST

PSG have no players banned for the first leg.
