Adam Lallana starts as Liverpool welcome West Ham United to Anfield.

Adam Lallana has been passed fit to start as Liverpool welcome West Ham United to Anfield this afternoon.

Manager Jurgen Klopp makes two changes from the shock 4-3 defeat at Bournemouth last weekend, with Lallana coming back into the fold after overcoming a groin problem.

Emre Can is left out of the matchday squad after picking up a knee injury that the Reds described as "not serious".

The other change is in defence, with the fit-again Joel Matip preferred to Lucas Leiva as partner for Dejan Lovren at centre-back.

For the visitors, Slaven Bilic makes four changes to the side that lost 5-1 to Arsenal last weekend as he looks to arrest a winless run of five games.

James Collins is ruled out with a muscular injury, meaning a recall for Havard Nordtveit into the back three along Winston Reid and Angelo Ogbonna.

Andre Ayew joins Dimitri Payet and Manuel Lanzini in providing the attacking threat, with Ashley Fletcher dropping to the bench, while Andy Carroll is also forced to start the game among the substitutes despite coming on to pull one back against the Gunners.

Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell are fit again and come into the side, with Edimilson Fernandes and Arthur Masuaku the men to miss out.

Bilic also names three Academy graduates - Domingos Quina, Marcus Browne and Alex Pike - on the bench.

Liverpool: Karius; Clyne, Lovren, Matip, Milner; Henderson, Wijnaldum, Lallana; Mane, Origi, Firmino
Subs: Mignolet, Moreno, Klavan, Lucas, Alexander-Arnold, Ejaria, Woodburn

West Ham United: Randolph; Nordtveit, Reid, Ogbonna; Antonio, Noble, Obiang, Cresswell; Lanzini, Ayew, Payet
Subs: Adrian, Carroll, Fletcher, Fernandes, Quina, Browne, Pike
