Jurgen Klopp angry over 'KloppCam' live stream

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp hits out at German broadcaster Sport1 for offering viewers a dedicated live stream dubbed 'KloppCam'.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has hit out at German broadcaster Sport1 for launching a dedicated 'KloppCam' channel for his return to Borussia Dortmund tonight.

The German will make an emotional homecoming to Westfalenstadion as his new side does battle with his old side for a place in the semi-finals of the Europa League.

To mark the occasion, Sport1 will offer viewers the opportunity to monitor Klopp's reactions for the full 90 minutes with their special 'KloppCam' service.

"That's the first time I have heard about it," Klopp told reporters at a pre-match press conference on Wednesday. "You see how crazy the world is?

"They can't put a camera in my face. I know the way in Dortmund – off the bus, into the dressing room and no-one allowed in, only us. Then we go out, stairs down, through the tunnel, into the stadium. It is always like this. It is loud, it is a big crowd and for the players everything is like it always is and that is the most important thing.

"I don't play. If someone is silly enough to want to see my face for 90 minutes during a game I cannot change the world.

"I can't believe it is like this but if it is true I have to think about whether I will really talk with this television station in my life again. I'm pretty sure I will not, if I don't have to. Maybe they will think about that because I have done a few interviews with them until now. But that's how it is. I know I am only one part of the game but if people around me act differently I can't change that and I don't care about it."

Prior to joining the Reds last October, Klopp spent seven years with Dortmund, guiding them to two Bundesliga titles, one DFB-Pokal trophy and two DFL-Supercups.
