Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink to take the Hibernian job?

A report suggests that Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is in line to take over at Hibernian after the former Chelsea striker quit as Royal Antwerp boss.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has emerged as the front-runner to take over the managerial position at Hibernian, according to reports.

The former Chelsea and Leeds United striker has quit as manager of Belgium side Royal Antwerp and wants a move back to Britain.

Hasselbaink will be interviewed by the club's hierarchy this week after an impressive first season in management with Royal Antwerp.

The 42-year-old guided the Belgian club to seventh in the league, despite being restricted with one of the smallest budgets in the division.
