Championship side Middlesbrough have completed the signing of Josh McEachran from Chelsea on a season-long loan basis.
The 19-year-old, who featured during Chelsea's pre-season tour of America earlier this summer, has found himself down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
As a result, manager Roberto Di Matteo has allowed him to join Middlesbrough in order to gain regular starting action.
It is the second time that the midfielder has spent time away from Chelsea on loan, having joined Swansea City on a temporary basis for part of last season.
