Scottish Premiership roundup: Wins for Aberdeen, Celtic

Sports Mole rounds up the day's Scottish Premiership action.

Celtic took one step closer to the Scottish Premiership title with a 3-0 win against St Mirren at Celtic Park.

Stefan Johansen scored just before half time, while Leigh Griffiths and Anthony Stokes netted after the break to take Neil Lennon's side 24 points clear at the top.

Aberdeen overcame Kilmarnock 2-1 at Pittodrie, despite going a goal down thanks to Kris Boyd's 11th-minute opener.

Adam Rooney levelled things up six minutes after falling behind, and Ryan Jack grabbed the winner on 72 minutes.

Elsewhere, Inverness Caledonian Thistle edged out Partick Thistle with Billy McKay hitting the winner just after the hour mark.

Meanwhile, Motherwell eased past Ross County 2-1 with James McFadden netting minutes after the restart.

John Sutton doubled the home side's lead on the hour mark, before Yann Songo'o reduced the deficit eight minutes from time.

St Johnstone beat Hibernian 2-0 thanks to goals from Steven MacLean and Ryan McGivern.
