Thomas Tuchel "over the moon" after win over Wolfsburg

Thomas Tuchel admits that he was "over the moon" after Borussia Dortmund's 2-1 victory over Wolfsburg.

Borussia Dortmund head coach Thomas Tuchel has admitted that it felt "awesome" to clinch a 2-1 victory over Wolfsburg at the Volkswagen Arena.

Shinji Kagawa scored a late winner for the visitors after Ricardo Rodrgiuez had converted a penalty to cancel out the opening goal from Marco Reus.

Dortmund became the first team to condemn Wolfsburg to a home defeat since March 2014, and Tuchel was quick to reveal his delight when reflecting on a crucial win.

"Of course our disappointment was unbounded when we conceded the penalty, although I've got to say the equaliser had been coming," the Dortmund boss told reporters.

"But then we played the final few minutes like we had played in the first half and it's awesome that we still managed to win it.

"We're over the moon about this win, but I'm far from happy with the way we played in the second half."

Dortmund are five points behind Bayern Munich after the Bundesliga leaders suffered their first loss of the campaign on Saturday afternoon.
