Tvestana Pironkova is going forward to the fourth round of Wimbledon after beating second seed Vera Zvonareva.
The Bulgarian, seeded 32 in the tournament, took a little over an hour to win the match 6-2 6-3.
The pair clashed at the Wimbledon semi-finals last year, when Zvonareva triumphed in a three-set match.
This is the furthest that Pironkova has progressed in a Grand Slam competition so far this year, reaching the second rounds of both the Australian and French Open.
She is expected to face five-time champion Venus Williams in the next round.
