Rumours this evening have claimed that Andy Roddick may retire at the end of the tennis season.
The 29-year-old surrendered a one-set lead at Wimbledon earlier today to David Ferrer, who eventually knocked out the American in four sets.
As Roddick exited the Centre Court, he blew a kiss to crowd, sparking speculation that he was saying goodbye to SW19 for the final time.
The tennis campaign ends in September with the US Open, which many now believe will be Roddick's last tournament as a professional tennis player.
Roddick's only Grand Slam success was recorded at Flushing Meadows back in 2003.
