Spanish number two David Ferrer has reached round three of Wimbledon thanks to a 7-6 6-4 6-4 win over Dustin Brown.
Ferrer took control of this encounter last night when he ran out a 7-5 winner in the opening set tie-break, before going on to take the next set 6-4.
However, bad light prevented the world number five from securing his place in the next round at the expense of his German opponent.
The two players returned to the court this afternoon with the third set level at two games apiece.
While Brown attempted to force through a set-win, it was his Spanish opponent, who managed to see it out and grab a spot in the second round.
