St Helens coach Nathan Brown has expressed his relief after his side picked up their first home win of the Super League season against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

The Saints romped to a 52-18 victory at Langtree Park on Friday night, with Jonny Lomax scoring 28 of their points.

"It's great to get the monkey off the back," Brown told Sky Sports News.

"It's been a slow start at home, but hopefully now we can go on and give the fans plenty more to cheer about."

The win has lifted St Helens up to fourth place in the Super League table.
