Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced that they have chosen not to keep defender Silvio at the club for another 12 months.
Last summer, the West Midlands outfit agreed to sign the full-back on a one-year deal, with the option of extending that should he impress in the Championship.
However, despite making an impression at the end of the campaign, his season was curtailed by injury and he only made a total of five appearances in all competitions.
The 29-year-old, who has previously represented Atletico Madrid, Deportivo La Coruna and Benfica, will now be available on a free transfer.
Three defenders have already been signed by Wolves since the end of last season, with Ryan Bennett, Roderick Miranda and Phil Ofosu-Ayeh all penning contracts at Molineux.
Earlier on Monday, Wolves revealed that Jed Wallace and George Saville had signed three-year contracts with Millwall.
