West Ham United are reportedly keeping tabs on Clermont striker and Guinea international Mohamed Bayo.
Michail Antonio is the only recognised central striking option for David Moyes at present, and so the Hammers are tempted to delve back into the transfer market for a new number nine.
According to The Sun, Bayo is being monitored by West Ham, however a potential transfer to the London Stadium is more likely to take place next summer, as the 23-year-old is set to feature in the African Cup of Nations in January.
The report also states that Ligue 1 outfit Bordeaux had a £7m bid for the striker rejected by Clermont in this summer's transfer window.
Bayo scored 22 goals for Les Lanciers last season, which helped them clinch promotion from the French second tier for the first time in their history.
The centre-forward has also started the new campaign brightly, scoring four goals in his opening seven Ligue 1 matches.
