Carlton Cole has revealed that he is still happy his decision to stay at West Ham United.
The striker was linked with a transfer to Stoke City last summer but rejected the move in favour of spearheading the Hammers' promotion bid.
Cole said: "It would mean the world to me to take West Ham back to the Premier League.
"That is the task I had at the start of the season, I could have left but there was no point because I'm so happy. I wanted to make an impact and help the team get to where we belong."
Sam Allardyce's team face Cardiff City in the first leg of the playoff semi-final and Cole is determined to appear at Wembley later this month.
"It would mean a lot to reach Wembley. They say that the best way to go up is to win the playoff final. Hopefully we'll do that," Cole added.
The Hammers finished third in the Championship this season.
