West Bromwich Albion ace Saido Berahino is reportedly close to signing a five-year contract extension at The Hawthorns.
The 21-year-old's stock has risen dramatically this season after scoring eight times in all competitions for the Baggies, resulting in a debut England call-up this week.
Consequently, the young striker is also thought to have courted interest from the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool ahead of the January transfer window.
However, West Brom have offered Berahino a £40,000-a-week deal in order to stave off interest from the Premier League's elite and the player himself is now keen to stay, according to The Telegraph.
Berahino is said to have infuriated the club's hierarchy and manager Alan Irvine on Friday by publicly expressing an interest in leaving Albion in search of Champions League football.
