England manager Roy Hodgson has named Saido Berahino in his squad to face Slovenia and Scotland later this month.
The 20-year-old striker has scored seven goals in 10 games for West Bromwich Albion this season, with his impressive form seeing him rewarded with a first senior call-up.
There is also a recall to the national team for Stewart Downing, who has played a big part in West Ham United's strong start to the campaign to force his way back into the England setup for the first time since May 2012.
Theo Walcott and Michael Carrick are also included in the squad having overcome injury problems, although Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge misses out once more.
Elsewhere, Rickie Lambert has regained his spot in the squad despite a lack of action at Liverpool this season, while Manchester United duo Luke Shaw and Chris Smalling are also included.
The Three Lions take on Slovenia at Wembley a week on Saturday in a Euro 2016 qualifier, before travelling to face Scotland three days later in a friendly.
